What's the difference between self-publishing, hybrid, and traditional?
Traditional publishers buy your rights and pay a small royalty. Self-publishing puts the entire burden — editing, design, distribution, marketing — on you. Hybrid publishing (what KCiPH does) blends the two: we provide the full publishing infrastructure for a fee, you keep your rights and 70% of net royalties.
How long will it take to publish my book?
Most KCiPH books move from accepted manuscript to global distribution in 6–8 months, with a maximum target of 10 months. The WRITE NOW cohort compresses this further into 90 days of intensive coaching plus production.
Do I need a literary agent?
Not with us. Traditional publishers require agents and reject over 95% of unsolicited manuscripts. KCiPH accepts direct submissions from any serious author.
I've already published elsewhere. Can I bring my book to KCiPH?
Yes — provided you still own the rights. We frequently re-release titles as second editions with new covers, fresh edits, and a relaunched publicity campaign.
