Rev. Dr. Jacquelyn Grant represents the prophetic intelligence of Black women who have insisted that theology must hear the testimony, experience, faith, and sacred wisdom of women whose voices were too often pushed to the margins. Her scholarship helped enlarge the theological classroom and deepen the Church's understanding of liberation, dignity, and divine calling.
